Tie rods are made from steel produced to ASTM Spec. A36 unless otherwise requested. (Other grades of steel are available). Tie rods should always be ordered will all accessories (nuts, coupling nuts, turnbuckles, clevises) attached at time of manufacturing to ensure proper fit.

The over-all length of each tie rod must be specified. When ordering tie rod assemblies requiring turnbuckles or clevises, the individual length of each rod, the gap between the rods, the size and takeup of the accessories must be detailed.
